A GOOD STARTING: Reviews of essentials
Little?, on Christsmas or at Christmas, plural of
child?, plural of that?...)

Dedica un tiempo cada semana hasta que hayas repasado todos los aspectos que tengas más débiles, como:
- Los elementos de la oración: Cuales son, su uso, y su lugar en la oración (orden de los elementos, bastante fija en Inglés ya que, a diferencia del español, determina el significado de la oración.
- Plural de los sustantivos
- Determinantes: demostrativos, pronombres y adjetivos personales (sujetos, posesivos, complementos, etc)
- Preposiciones básicas: tiempo, lugar, etc.
- Cuantificadores: much-many, (a) little-(a) few, a lot of, quite, bit, etc.
- Números cardinales y ordinales
- Las formas verbales y los tiempos (tenses) básicos (presentes, pasados y futuros) tanto de los verbos auxiliares como de flexivos (la mayoría) y los modales (can, must, may...).
- Verbos irregulares más comunes (sus pasados simples y participios pasados)

DEFINING THINGS
Measurements and shapes (medidas y formas)
Shapes, measurements and dimensions are very useful to define or describe something.
Adjectives (games)
Remember adjectives rules
- They do NOT have PLURAL form. (A big house. / Some big houses.)
- They have to be placed BEFORE the noun and go in a SPECIFIC ORDER if there are some. (The expensive golden watch.)
Adjectives are also very useful to describe or define words; they "paint" the word, giving us details such as color, smell, taste, feeling, material...
Adjectives order
Adjectives ending in -ED and -ING

CLOZES (Textos con huecos para completar)
Putting your writing on the internet for everyone to see, comment on and criticize isn’t an easy thing to do. It takes courage to face an audience and say: “Here it is. Here are my words. Here are my thoughts”.
We’re all afraid of being judged, and it’s really hard to hear that your writing isn’t up to scratch.
But even though we all know negative criticisms aren’t exactly fun, we have to remember that they are a huge part of the learning process.
Criticism as a Learning Process Most of us have memories of being on the receiving end of negative criticism at some point in our lives, and I’m sure we can also remember how those criticisms sometimes actually worked to make us better people. More

THE PROM (promotion or graduation ceremony)
What is a prom?
In the United States, and increasingly in the United Kingdom and Canada, prom is a semi-formal (black tie) dance or gathering of high school students. This event is typically held near the end of the senior year (the last year of high school). Proms figure greatly in popular culture and is a major event among high school students. High school juniors attending the prom may call it "junior prom" while high-school seniors may call it "senior prom" or "senior ball". In practice, this event may be a combined junior/senior dance.
At a prom, a Prom King and Prom Queen may be revealed. These are honorary titles awarded to students elected in a school-wide vote prior to the prom, and seniors are usually awarded these titles. Continue to read... |
